A Christmas Carol
Springline Players took a different theatre genre this year and decided to let the Pantomime Dame, Principal Boy and Girl and the Villian "rest" for a season. So we undertook one of Charles Dickens most loved stories, "A Christmas Carol", and presented a dramatised reading in St Augustines Church in East Hendred. The two performances were well attended and we managed to raise £1,700 for the two village churchs, St Augustine and St Marys. A great start to the Christmas holidays and raising funds for worthy causes.
